At HabitStreak (operated by Rooks Labs LLC), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect

- Habit Data: Habits you create, completion records, streaks, goals
- Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, performance metrics
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version

- Error reports and crash logs (via Sentry)
- Anonymous analytics for app improvement
- Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
2. How We Use Your Information
- Core Functionality: Track your habits, calculate streaks, generate insights
- Sync Across Devices: Keep your data synchronized across your devices
- Group Features: Share progress with group members (only if you join groups)
- Notifications: Send reminders and milestone celebrations
- Support: Provide customer service and troubleshoot issues
- App Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
- Subscription Management: Process payments and manage premium features
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in these limited circumstances:
Service Providers
- Supabase: Database and authentication (data stored in US)
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Stripe: Payment processing (web subscriptions)
- Sentry: Error monitoring and crash reporting
- Apple/Google: App Store purchases and push notifications
Group Features
If you join a HabitStreak group, your habit progress and basic profile information (name, avatar) will be visible to other group members.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
4. Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- We use industry-standard security practices
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Access controls and authentication requirements
5. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Subscription Data: Retained for tax and legal requirements (up to 7 years)
- Anonymous Analytics: May be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify individuals
6. Your Rights and Choices
Account Management
- Access: View your data anytime within the app
- Update: Edit your profile, habits, and preferences
- Export: Request a copy of your data
- Delete: Delete your account and all associated data
Communications
- Disable push notifications in app settings or device settings
- Opt out of promotional emails (account-related emails will continue)
Data Portability
You can export your habit data and progress history. Contact support for assistance with data export.
7. Children's Privacy
HabitStreak is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in the United States. By using HabitStreak, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the US.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
