Terms of Use (EULA)

Welcome to HabitStreak! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HabitStreak mobile application ("App") operated by Rooks Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

1. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HabitStreak for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Use the App to track your personal habits and goals
• Create groups and share progress with friends and family
• Sync your data across your personal devices
• Export your personal habit data

You May Not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Share your account credentials or sell your account
• Upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

2. HabitStreak Premium Subscription

Billing and Renewal

• iOS: Payment charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation
• Android: Payment charged to your Google Play account at purchase confirmation
• Web: Payment processed securely via Stripe
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to renewal

Managing Your Subscription

• iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions
• Web: Account Settings > Subscription Management

Cancellation and Refunds

• You can cancel anytime before the next billing cycle
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• Premium features remain accessible until the subscription expires
• Refund requests are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies

3. Account Management

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You're responsible for maintaining account security
• One person per account (no sharing)
• Must be 13+ years old to create an account

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Account deletion will:

• Permanently delete all your habit data and progress
• Remove you from any groups you've joined
• Cancel any active subscriptions
• Cannot be undone

4. User Content and Conduct

Your Content

• You own the habit data and content you create
• You grant us license to store and sync your data across devices
• You're responsible for backing up important data

Prohibited Conduct

• Harassing or bullying other users in groups
• Sharing inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
• Attempting to hack or disrupt the service
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
• Using the App for illegal activities

5. Groups and Social Features

• Group features are optional - you can use HabitStreak solo
• Group members can see your progress on shared habits
• Group creators can remove members who violate community standards
• We may suspend accounts for inappropriate behavior in groups

6. Privacy and Data

• Your privacy is important to us - see our Privacy Policy for details
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data
• You can export your data before account deletion
• We don't sell your personal information to third parties

7. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• Some features require internet connection
• We may update the App to improve features and security

8. Intellectual Property

• HabitStreak and all related trademarks are owned by Rooks Labs LLC
• The App design, features, and code are protected by copyright
• You may not use our trademarks without written permission
• Third-party licenses are acknowledged in the App

9. Disclaimers

• HabitStreak is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We're not responsible for any lost data due to device issues or user error
• The App is for informational purposes and not medical advice
• Results may vary - habit formation depends on individual commitment

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rooks Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in prohibited conduct
• Attempt to harm our systems or other users
• Use the service fraudulently

12. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms periodically
• Material changes will be communicated through the App or email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• You can always view the latest Terms in the App settings

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
