Welcome to HabitStreak! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HabitStreak mobile application ("App") operated by Rooks Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HabitStreak, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HabitStreak is a habit tracking application that allows you to:

  • Create and track daily habits
  • Build and maintain streaks
  • Earn badges and achievements
  • Gain XP and level up
  • Join groups and participate in challenges (Premium)
  • View analytics and insights (Premium)

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan

The free plan includes basic features with limitations (e.g., up to 3 habits). Free features may change at our discretion.

Premium Subscription

Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to their respective terms and payment policies.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • You can manage subscriptions in your device's account settings
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (habit names, notes, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You agree not to create content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Infringing on others' intellectual property
  • Spam or misleading

6. Group Features

When using group features, you agree to:

  • Respect other members
  • Not share inappropriate content
  • Not harass or spam other users

We reserve the right to remove users who violate these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

HabitStreak, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Rooks Labs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App without our permission.

8. Disclaimers

HabitStreak is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Results from using the App
  • The accuracy of any information in the App

HabitStreak is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or health advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rooks Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where Rooks Labs LLC is incorporated.
